Vistor's Guide To Evansville, Indiana

Welcome To Evansville, Indiana!
Evansville, Indiana is a great place to visit! With it's rich German heritage and located on the Ohio River, you can't go wrong!

Tourist Attractions
Every year in the first week of October, Evansville's West Side Nut Club holds the second largest street festival in America, The Fall Festival! Located on Franklin Street, it's not hard to find. It's easily the biggest attraction in Evansville.

Another huge attraction is Thunder on The Ohio. This usually involves hydroboats and the Blue Angels, which are highly trained pilots who perform stunts in jets.

Food
Evansville is known for it's German heritage. With heritage comes food. One of the greatest places to visit for German food would be The Gerst Haus.

Another great place to eat is Turoni's Pizzeria. They have the best pizza in town, and they usually have a magician there at night. It's very entertaining, you're sure to have a good time.

Night Entertainment
The Deerhead is a lounge off of First Ave. that offers great food and live Jazz. If your into Jazz, this is the place to go.

Another place to go for live music is Boney Junes. This place is mostly for teenagers, as the music played here is mostly Emo, Screamo, and Pop Punk.
